Interlibrary Loan Policy

Inter-library loan services are provided free to all library patrons and staff. The Library has access, over an international computer network, to 40,000 libraries holding over 52 million items. Interlibrary loan request are sent over the network on a daily basis and generally are filled (in-hand) within 7-10 workdays, although very obscure or very popular items could take as much as 25 days.

The Library also provides access to a number of online databases. Many of these provide access to full text articles. For the full text of articles not available on-line, an inter-library loan (ILL) form may be filled out in WorldCat or at the Circulation desk.
