AS Environmental Science  (HEGIS 5604)

 

 

This degree is intended as either an Associates’ degree or as a transfer program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science or Environmental Studies degree.  By appropriate course selection with a faculty advisor, students may prepare for transfer to upper-division study in Environmental Science or Environmental Studies.  The program requires a distribution of courses representing the freshman and sophomore years of a four-year Bachelor’s program, although graduates possess skills and knowledge to take their places in the work force.  A minimum of 66 credits with a grade point average of 2.00 is required for graduation.

 

Basic competency courses may be required of students who need to develop learning skills.  A maximum of 6 credits of basic skills courses (excluding MAT 095) may be applied toward a degree in the General Electives area.
