North Country Community College maintains several cooperative programs with other institutions.  In such programs, students spend part of their college career at North Country and complete their degree requirements at the cooperating institution.

Students in good academic standing are guaranteed an opportunity to continue their education on a full-time basis at the SUNY four-year or senior campus.  A 1980 SUNY Board of Trustee policy further stipulates that transfer articulation agreements between two and four-year institutions within SUNY be developed which further ensures that community college graduates can be accepted into parallel programs to complete a Baccalaureate Degree in four additional semesters at a four-year college.

Specific Cooperative and Transfer Articulation Agreements maintained by North Country Community College are described below.  The College is in the process of developing additional agreements; students should consult the Career Planning and Placement Counselors.  Any student who anticipates transferring to another institution under the terms of one of these agreements is urged to seek more detailed information from the Career Planning and Placement Counselors, or the appropriate Department Chair.  Careful course selection and planning in consultation with a faculty advisor are required in order to prepare for transfer to upper-division study.
