March 10, 2020
Good morning, all:
Just a reminder that there will be a COVID-19 Information Session on our Malone campus today. It will take place at 12:15 p.m. in the Mills Mezzanine. All students, staff and faculty in Malone are strongly encouraged to attend. College officials will present information on how we are planning for the coronavirus and outline precautions students, faculty and staff can take to prevent its spread. Refreshments will be available.
A similar information session was held this past Thursday on our Saranac Lake campus, and class visits have been taking place at the Ticonderoga campus. For those who can’t make one of these sessions, a video and a PowerPoint of the Saranac Lake presentation can be seen here: www.nccc.edu/coronavirus-response. This website, which is being updated daily, also contains helpful resources about preventing the spread of coronavirus.
NOTE: There are currently no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at any of our campuses, in our campus communities or in Essex or Franklin counties. However, the college will continue to plan and prepare for that possibility. Thank you all for your continued diligence (keep washing those hands!) in protecting the health of our fellow students, faculty and staff.
