Assistance with Papers: NCCC students can receive assistance researching, developing, and organizing their papers, as well as editing them for the final draft. All papers are welcome, not just those required in English classes. Students must first revise and spell-check their rough draft before either bringing a copy of their paper to the LAC or emailing it. Writing tutors will not correct the paper, but will suggest ways to improve the paper and will indicate what type of error is present within a sentence. A copy of the edited paper is sent to the instructor and a copy is maintained in the LAC.
