The New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) is offering scholarships to eligible New York State residents to take courses toward the AAS Chemical Dependency Counseling degree at North Country along with the integrated Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) program. This scholarship funding is made available through OASAS’ Addiction Professionals Scholarship Program which is funded by the New York State Opioid Settlement Fund. Such scholarships will assist individuals to either begin or advance their careers in the addictions services profession, and they will assist providers certified by OASAS, the Office of Mental Health, or the Department of Health with employee recruitment, retention, and professional development.

Bilingual/multilingual individuals are highly encouraged to apply. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis until all scholarships are awarded.
