North Country Community College welcomed local leaders, community partners, and elected officials to its Saranac Lake campus on Tuesday, Oct. 7, for Community Leaders Day 2025, a bi-annual event that celebrates collaboration and shared impact across the region.
A group of students in the college's Environmental Science program got to visit the summit of an Adirondack High Peak as part of a class trip recently. Students in instructor Brian McAllister's BIO 160/Adirondack Biology class traveled to Whiteface Mountain to learn about alpine vegetation and tree growth patterns with elevation.
