Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR), also known as the International Transgender Day of Remembrance, is observed annually (from its inception) on November 20 as a day to memorialize those who have been murdered as a result of transphobia.

It is a day to draw attention to the continued violence endured by transgender people not only in the United States but throughout the world.

This is a day set aside by the Transgender Community, for the Transgender Community, to honor and remember those who were viciously and brutally murdered in the past 12 months.

Adirondack North Country Gender Alliance invites you to attend our 8th annual event Sunday Nov. 19th at 2:00 pm (EST).

Pre-registration is required. Simply click on this link below.
