Seth McGowan of the Adirondack Sky Center and Observatory in Tupper Lake will host a program for the college community and the public on the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse exactly one month before it happens. Here are the details:
NAME: The Great Adirondack Eclipse with Seth McGowan, President, Adirondack Sky Center & Observatory

LOCATION: Petty Lecture Hall, S-19, Mullholland Hall, Saranac Lake

DETAILS: Seth McGowan, President of the Adirondack Sky Center & Observatory, will describe the 'secret recipe' behind the upcoming April 8th Total Solar Eclipse destined to grace the Adirondacks. He will share a number of perspectives on the upcoming eclipse, as well as the history of eclipses within the Adirondack Blue Line. You will hear about the impact to communities within the path of totality, and what is expected in the six-million-acre park.
