Everyone deserves a safe space. Come learn how to create a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals in your community. This session will cover: Pronouns, Ground Rules, the Spectrum of Sexual and Gender Diversity, Terminology and Inclusive Language, Coming Out and Identity Formation, What to do when someone comes out to you, How to be an ally and the 4 Rs of being an Ally, How to Handle Harassment in the Hallways, How to Support Others, Ways to Support LGBTQ+ Folks and Ways to Fight Homophobia and Transphobia.
