Award-Winning Journalist Chelsea Helms to address Class of 2025

North Country Community College is proud to announce that Chelsea Helms, an award-winning journalist and evening news anchor for CBS4 in Central Indiana, and an alumnus of the college, will serve as the keynote speaker for North Country's 57th Commencement Ceremony. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 17, at 11 a.m. in the Sparks Athletic Complex on the college's Saranac Lake campus.

Students, staff, faculty spruce up Saranac Lake campus

Students, staff, and faculty pitched in this week to do a little spring cleaning of the Saranac Lake campus. A total of 45 people participated in the Saranac Lake Campus Clean-Up, which took place Tuesday afternoon and was coordinated by the Office of Student Life.

Environmental Science class marks Earth Day

Students in Brian McAllister's Environmental Science class took on an Earth Day project on Tuesday, planting several dozen plants donated by former science department chair Dr. Judy Steinberg outside the Saranac Lake campus library.

Virtual Presentation on the 'Twinkie Defense'

The college is hosting a virtual presentation and Q and A with Dr. Jerrod Brown titled "A Neurocriminological and Nutritional Neuroscience Exploration of the 'Twinkie Defense': A Look Back and Lessons Learned." This program will take place April 14 from noon to 12:30 pm
