Job Fair at NCCC Ticonderoga

TICONDEROGA – Public and private employers from across the region will be on hand to talk about their open positions and available career opportunities as North Country Community College, the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce and the Workforce Development Institute team up to host a Job Fair on Thursday, July 18.

NCCC Ticonderoga

Set for 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the college’s Ticonderoga campus, the Job Fair will feature the following employers:  Essex County, International Paper, Mountain Lake Services, the Housing Assistance Program of Essex County, Elderwood, the New York State Department of Labor, North Country Home Services and The Residence at Otter Creek.

Job seekers are invited to visit the fair, learn more about the businesses, companies and agencies that are hiring in the area and connect directly with their hiring managers and human resource professionals.

The Job Fair is one of several events happening that night at the college’s Ticonderoga campus. At 6 p.m., the college will cut the ribbon on its new individualized Business Administration program, which combines the flexibility and convenience of online education with the personal touch of support and advisement from NCCC faculty.

The latest installment in the college’s Free Summer Lecture Series takes place at 7 p.m. as faculty member Peter Nelson presents “How the Adirondacks Made the Erie Canal Possible.”
