SARANAC LAKE -- Students in Brian McAllister's Environmental Science class took on an Earth Day project on Tuesday, planting several dozen plants donated by former science department chair Dr. Judy Steinberg outside the Saranac Lake campus library.

The garden had been planted by now-retired science department chair Dr. Judy Steinberg, who took care of many of the college's gardens and plantings during her tenure with the college.

Steinberg donated several dozen plants of eight different species to McAllister, who enlisted his students to help plant them.

You can read more about their work in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise.
