College welcomes new student trustee

SARANAC LAKE - North Country Community College recently welcomed Shia Bright to the college Board of Trustees.

As our student trustee, Shia is a voice for our students on all matters that come before the board.

A native of Gouverneur in St. Lawrence County, Shia is a second-year student in our Environmental Science program and is the treasurer of the college Student Government Association.

The college is pleased and excited to have Shia join the board.
