SARANAC LAKE – North Country Community College will host two readings of the play “The Pathless Woods” by renowned playwright Karen Lewis.
The performances will take place Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 1 p.m. in the Mills Mezzanine on the college’s Malone campus, and Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m. in Mulholland Hall S-19 on the Saranac Lake campus. They are free of charge and open to the public.
Directed by Beth Glover, “The Pathless Woods” features Laura Farrell as Sarah and Tekonwenaharake (Ronni) Sunday, who graduated from the college in May, as Jess.
The play is an exploration of life, death, loss, and moving on. Two strangers with seemingly different agendas meet on a mountain in the Adirondacks. Sarah is distraught and looking for answers. Will Jess keep her from taking the wrong path?
