Eight-week pottery class offered in Saranac Lake

 

SARANAC LAKE -- North Country Community College’s Art Department will host an eight-week pottery class on the Saranac Lake campus this semester.

Open to the public, the non-credit Wheel Throwing class will take place in the college’s Pottery Studio and costs $150.

Wheel Throwing will take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. from Feb. 17 through Apr. 6. Participants will learn how to center clay on the wheel and throw or improve their throwing skills. This course is open to all levels, from beginners to experienced potters.
